摘要：Bridging the knowledge brokerage literature and the international entrepreneurship literature, we investigate whether international knowledge transfer through returnees affects their entrepreneurial decisions upon return and how this relationship is contingent on the home country’s supportive policies toward returnee entrepreneurship and returnees’ cross-cultural readjustment. By analyzing first-hand survey data, we find a positive relationship between international knowledge transfer and returnees’ decisions to become entrepreneurs in their home countries. Such a positive relationship is strengthened by the home country’s supportive policies toward returnee entrepreneurship but is weakened by returnees’ difficulties in readjusting to local norms and culture in their home countries.

报告人简介：路江涌博士毕业于香港大学商学院经济学与企业战略方向。师从陶志刚教授。曾任清华大学经济管理学院企业战略与政策系助理教授，现任北京大学光华管理学院战略管理系教授。路江涌教授的研究方向主要包括创业、创新、国际商务和国际经济学等。路江涌教授在中文权威期刊发表论文10余篇，在英文SSCI学术期刊发表论文30余篇，其中包括Strategic Management Journal, Journal of International Business Studies, Organization Science, Journal of International Economics, China Economic Review等管理学和经济学顶级期刊。
