Foundations of American Law Class
The skills required to read American cases and find the rule of law in common law systems;
Understanding how to engage in complex legal analysis for hypothetical questions based on changes in facts from a case;
The skills that American lawyers draw upon when engaging in legal writing; and
The role that statutes play in the American legal system and how judges and lawyers engage in statutory analysis.
