Persisting in the principle of learning together, ECO symposium aims to establish a platform to know each other, and then to understand the world.

Anne Choquet is a lecturer and researcher in law at Brest Business School in France. She teaches mainly international and European law, intellectual property law and law of the sea. After a PhD thesis on environmental protection in Antarctica, Anne Choquet pursues her research work on polar areas governance, non only regarding sustainable development of these areas but also private activities management or innovating activities management.

Her research expertise gave her the opportunity to take part to international negotiations, within the French delegation to the Antarctic Treaty Consultative Meetings. She is also member of the French Academy of Legal Studies in Business, the French Institute of the Sea and the French National Committee in Antarctic and Arctic Research.

In this symposium, Anne Choquet will present her point of view about how the change of north pole region influences companies and leads to new regulations.
