In the context of globalization, FDI is increasingly playing a vital role in one nation’s open economy. We are keen on the new era of globalization as well as the contribution of FDI to national economy.
In order topromote communication among students from different countries and deepen the understanding of the world economy,School of Economics will organize the 3rd round Understanding the World Symposium on Dec 20th, we sincerely invite all the graduates to join the discussion on theImpact of FDIon Host Country’s Economy.

How to Participate:
1.Fill in the application form (Annex 1), attach a personal photo, and send email to18763623263@163.com.

3. 5-6 Speeches will be selected to present on the symposium based on the topic and analysis, each speech should be limited within 15 mins, a supervisor and discussant will be designated to each speaker.(Annex 2)

Introduction of the Symposium:
Understanding the World, the series of International Academic Activities, organized by School of Economics, consist of International Symposium and Academic Roundtable.The Academic Roundtable adheres to the concept of joint study and in-depth discussion, provides a platform for teachers and students both at home and abroad to establish an equal exchange, mutual knowledge and joint study.At present, School of Economics has successfully held 9 activities on the platform which is playing a pivotal role to promote the international communication on campus.
